Consolidating EVM Support Around exSat

As part of our long-term commitment to building high-performance infrastructure for Web3 applications, the Vaulta Foundation is beginning the process of consolidating EVM support around exSat EVM. This means we will be winding down support for the original Vaulta EVM testnet and mainnet deployments in the coming months.
By unifying efforts around the EVM environment with the strongest developer momentum, we can better serve the ecosystem and continue delivering infrastructure that developers and users can rely on.
Clarifying the Relationship: Frameworks and Deployments
To provide clear context:
The Vaulta EVM Framework is the core codebase that enables EVM-compatible networks to operate on Vaulta. It remains fully supported and under active development.
Vaulta EVM was the first network built on this framework, launched in April 2023 (initially branded as EOS EVM).
exSat EVM, launched in October 2024 using the same framework, has since become the most active Vaulta-based EVM environment. The majority of application activity, TVL, and ecosystem growth is now centered there.
This announcement affects only the Vaulta EVM network deployments. The Vaulta EVM Framework continues to power the infrastructure we support, including exSat EVM.
Why We're Consolidating: Momentum and Focus
As stewards of the Vaulta ecosystem, we believe it's essential to focus our resources where they can drive the most impact. This consolidation reflects that principle.
Over the past several months, developer activity, user adoption, and capital deployment have increasingly shifted toward exSat EVM. The community has already shown where it sees long-term potential, and this decision follows the path that builders and users have charted.
At the same time, maintaining underutilized deployments introduces operational overhead and infrastructure costs that no longer align with ecosystem growth. By consolidating around exSat, we are aligning our priorities with community-driven momentum while continuing to evolve the EVM framework.
What to Expect
In the coming weeks, we will share a detailed plan for the wind-down of Vaulta EVM support. We are fully committed to supporting a smooth migration process for developers, teams, and users. This includes clear guidance, documentation, and responsive communication.
We want to be clear: This change does not affect access to any assets.
Users will retain full control of their funds, and we will provide ample notice and support to ensure transitions can occur safely and confidently.
Looking Ahead
The Vaulta Foundation remains committed to supporting the builders, teams, and communities driving programmable finance forward. Our continued investment in the Vaulta EVM Framework and exSat EVM reflects a clear focus on scalable, production-ready infrastructure that meets the needs of today’s ecosystem and tomorrow’s innovation.
